ROB HOXIE
Rob has worked in the Pacific Northwest’s construction industry for more than 25 years. From selling and shipping building materials in the Seattle market and overseas to working on the most complex and significant residences in our area, his experience —along with a degree in Studio Art and a Certificate of Project Management from the University of Washington — makes Rob a uniquely experienced and qualified builder. Prior to forming Hoxie Huggins Construction, Rob was senior project manager and chief estimator at Krekow Jennings and was involved with large and challenging projects from inception to completion. Rob’s work ran the gamut from logistically complex projects and budget-driven custom homes to residential and light commercial tenant improvement projects. Rob’s creativity, experience, knowledge, and long-standing relationships with the region’s best and most experienced subcontractors and suppliers bring value to any project.
When not at work, you’ll find Rob and his family exploring the Puget Sound region and beyond in their 27-foot Airstream — or furtively looking for a wayward tee shot.
CHRIS HUGGINS
Chris has 25 years of experience working on discriminating architectural projects — from his early days as a cabinetmaker and carpenter in Chicago to the last 20 years managing residential construction projects in Seattle. Chris' dual degrees in Business (BS, Miami University) and Fine Art (MFA, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago) have provided him with a unique background well-suited to the world of high-end architectural construction. Chris brings to each project the discipline to manage complex budgets and schedules while fully understanding the value of design, craft and creativity. Prior to founding Hoxie Huggins Construction, Chris was a principal and senior project manager with Lockhart|Suver.
Whenever possible, Chris escapes to the simplicity of his cabin in the Methow Valley with his wife and two boys. Chris still rides a steel hard-tail mountain bike, and regularly finishes in the middle of the pack in the fall cyclocross races.
